About Christ’l

Christ’l Dullaert is a prominent thought leader in the Dutch legal world who holds degrees in both Law and Philosophy. 


Negotiation is part of Christ’l Dullaert’s daily life, having worked as a lawyer across disciplines including immigration law, labour law, criminal law and real estate legislation. Christ’l is a pioneer in mediation training for lawyers in The Netherlands. During a three-year stint in New York City, she served as a liaison officer for Lawyers Without Borders at the UN and worked for the Negotiation Project at Harvard Law School. Coming back from the USA she started her own employment agency for lawyers, Le Tableau, the first of its kind in The Netherlands.

Christ’l is passionate about helping others to succeed through building and honing their negotiation skills. Her laidback, straightforward and welcoming approach helps anyone (from seasoned professionals to those totally new to the practice) navigate negotiation and get what they need to succeed.

Published Works

Christ’l is also the author of six books on law firm management and business development. Her (co-authored) book, The New Lawyer, dives deep into the future of law practice. She is an expert in the practical application of negotiation theory across her extensive career and brings a wealth of experience.

In Q4 2021 she published her first novel, Fall of Man, and of course the main character is a Lawyer…
